I have
been taking photographs as a serious hobby for many years and have used a
Single Lens Reflex camera for most of the time. In July 2006 I bought an
Olympus E500 Digital SLR camera and started taking pictures for the first
time in a number of years. I had given up taking pictures due to the
expense of conventional photography, if I went to an event I would always
shoot 7or more rolls of film which was a fairly hefty bill in developing
costs. I now go out with my Digital and shoot 600 plus photographs which
costs me absolutely nothing. Changing over to Digital photography has made
a huge difference to the quality and simplicity of taking photographs, and
has thus brought back the enjoyment I get from photography.
As you can
see in my galleries I enjoy taking a wide range of types of photographs
and with the ease of use of the digital camera I am now taking types of
photograph that I had not successfully taken with a conventional camera.
I still
take photographs as a hobby but have recently been able to to get Press
facilities to many motor racing events through
PhotosportUK.
I have taken pictures at
Buxton Raceway ,
Donington
Park ,
Haydock Park TruckFest ,
Southport Air Show and the
British Musical Fireworks during 2006 and hope to take pictures at
3 Sisters
(Near Wigan) and
Oulton Park as well during 2007, although
I will be concentrating on Buxton and hope to attend all of this years
meetings. |
